Found an old hammer in the garden. Gave a bit of TLC :-)

Finished dismantling the backyard hobby greenhouse I installed about 10 years ago. It was harder to take down than to put up. All in the rubbish bin now!

Having bodged a short handle on a hand fork, dug up on the allotment, I went on to uncover this B.P brass screw top for a 2 gallon fuel can.
If anyone is looking to mate it with a lidless period can let me know.

Needs a bit of a polish.
You can buy replica 2 gallon cans, and originals, for less than £50.00.

I have an original 1944 Allied Jerry can is desert colours & WD stamped.
I couldn't even get the local military vehicle fans interested in it.

I'll give it to the boy to try out his school science experiment(copper pennies etc), then he can add it to his collection of "old folks things"! At least it might get it cleaned up.

We now a waterfall from the lighthouse to our new pond. The original pump had failed but e bay came to the rescue.
The lighthouse was a 60th present from the kids, so I have obtained a few rare brownie points.

When the weather is better we will fix the best position for it.

Removed the rotten decking, and replaced with slate which hopefully won’t rot this time round. posts were rotten so I spliced in some new sections.
