Just to ask a question,Have had my Morgan plus 4 , 6 weeks now and find 5th gear stiff is this normal or is this just a new car.

I would give it some time to bed in Ian. Things will loosen up after the first few thousand miles.
Assuming its not making unexpected noises!
Both my Plus 4 gearchanges also improved after I tilted the gearbox and filled it with the level plug horizontal. We've had discussions about this on TM before.
Certainly my 2016 gearbox was uninspiring until it settled in with some miles.

We have done nearly 1,000 miles in ours since new but haven't found any problem with 5th gear from new, the only thing I have found is the engine seems a bit hesitant but hoping that will change after a few miles. They told us it came out the factory with the club sport tune.
