There was an early +4 at Le Mans - and for the last two Classic Leigh Sebba (co driver Peter Cole) campaigned a 1953 car in Grid 2, finishing 30th overall and 26th on index. All being well it will be there at the revised one in July 2021.

There is a very nice Dutch registered "woody" estate which I posted some years back on here but I can't find it now, perhaps one of our colleagues from the Nederland know of it, it was very well executed.

Apologies for the poor quality, but pinned to the garage wall too low down & got spattered with waxoil many years ago Estate... ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/04/28/Mogestate.jpg) And for the really brave what about an Aerotruck ? ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/04/28/Aerotruck.jpg) Ha ha ...they're certainly interesting!!! .... they have to be photoshop surely? ..... saying that the custom car world does some very odd things in the pursuit of novelty..... a few odd details aside the estate doesn't look bad (wearing a Toyota badge??)..... makes me think of the attempts by Jeep to make more 'civilised' daily drivers (jeepster station wagon I think they were called) ...same sort of dissonance of design elements K

I liked the soft top on the Peking to Paris Mog. Used as a two seater but with a lot more room inside. For more info http://peking2paris2016.no/blog/![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2020/04/28/peking-to-paris-mog.jpg)

Found this on the interwebby ..... again it seems to be a photoshop 'design study' rather than a car 'in the metal' ..... possibly for the best ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/04/28/20200428_120019.jpg) Perhaps it's a testament to how 'right' Morgan got the design that so few special bodied cars seem to be out there. I haven't yet finalised on a hood for my 4 seater resto .... I do like the classic shape of the full hood with the curved rear sidescreen (Simmonds??) However, I don't have any plans to carry Humans in the back and that hood in the pic is a fine neat shape ... will have to make my mind up sooner or later K

K I've put panels under my seats, so I can remove them and then carry stacks of extra kit.... ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2019/06/16/neUXTZ_Y2wabntb_UCDJs34WpIB3bCck4NabwJaRl5Mz_ArW2XZxS-7fN3KOmONn5h0MyyvpkavIS6dF4EHOV1dyHLUOoTL7aFYqpr0dITWIqENuph-PfMuLmW_E2dpkZUWejQwjIuVJUIZQMOuRWwqCp3lEJVTdLsqAY92seRvGAooy0KWV-gM7A97Hrb0F-dkRr77z.jpg)

Good to see a pic of that as it's what I have planned for mine ....I think my only passengers might be back from the pub when lifts are short ...and they can rough it for that sort of distance (or walk!) ....other than that, decent luggage space. I'd like to leave enough space behind the back panel to make a sort of canvas 'pocket file' that could hold the side screens out of the way but separated enough not to scratch each other. K Ps ... mine has a steel panel under the seat base already with a sort of metal inverted frying pan hump to give clearance for the diff.

Personally, if I was designing my hood, I remove the perspex side windows and make them part of the hood. (as per the Peking Model above). I'd also flatten the roof line - one line going up at the same angle as the back panel, and then another going back from the screen to meet it. Make it look a bit like a 30's saloon.

K Yep, theres a drop space behind the back panel that will hold the front and rear side screens in seperate bags, and the hood. I'm going to make a horizontal cup half way across the back panel (probably equidistant between the two side screws) and hinge it so it drops forward. It will make it easier to get things in and out - at the moment I have to raise the hoops. I have few toggle latches that I'll use to secure the top half.
