Hi. Anyone out there got any experience of leather renovation products? There is a nasty scuff mark on the bolster of the driver’s seat on my 2008 +4 caused by the past owner getting in and out. I don’t want to make a mess of it but I would like to have a go myself There are several kits around, just wondering which would be the best to go for any ideas?

I used this kit on one quite nasty scratch from a jeans rivet which was low down on the offside drivers seat backrest. My seats are black, but you can get a colour match. The surface is built up using the coloured liquid, which is not paint but looks very similar. Before that you may need to abrade the surface to level it off, and the procedure for that is in the kit. Once that's done you mix a laquer from a bottle of gloss and a bottle of matt to match your finish. It was amazingly effective and took no time at all.
