Great choice on the exhaust. Garage 56 is great. Might as well go right up to stage 2 in my book. Glad to hear your thoughts on G56 but Stage 2 will have to wait at least a year

... I hope G56 is as good as everyone says. Its quite the splurge but if it helps the engine and performance then it probably worth it.
On the other hand your presumably-OEM exhaust silencers look “slimmer” than mine... have the standard exhausts changed recently? Or an optical illusion? (Or bad eyesight?)

Welcome to TM and congratulations for your M3W purchase. Also like the color. This is a great forum and wonderful source of information from your fellow TMers.
Garage 56 people are great to work with. Excellent company. Stage one is a good move. Increased air intake and freed up exhaust makes a big difference. Your headers won’t be glowing red at night. I went with Morgan Aero Racing Stage One but I like the sound of the Garage 56 pipes more. Both work well. After discussion with Garage 56 regarding compatibility considering I installed the Morgan Aero Racing Stage One I ordered the Garage 56 Stage Two kit including their ECU fine tuned for stage two. I can highly recommend eventually going to stage two. My engine runs great. Very free reving, does have more power, and smoother at a lower rpm but S&S does recommend keeping the rpms up.
You’ll love working on your M3W and making it your own.
Have a lot of fun. You are going to feel you’re in a parade every time you drive it.
Sorry to hear about your cousin.

Sportster: Thanks for the warm welcome and I agree wholeheartedly about the forum being a great resource with super helpful members. I appreciate your input about the G56 exhaust. It’s reassuring to hear from owners of the system. Stage 2 sounds tempting as a couple of members have already recommended it. In what ways does it improve upon G56 Stage-1?

Stage two cams keep intake and exhaust valves open longer. Also ECU remap with stage one and two.
Because of first gear ratio hard to keep the rpms up in first gear in slow traffic sometimes. Engine handles this smoother now. The engine revs more freely, smoother overall, and more power. Overall drivability improved. Don't have to downshift quite as much.

So finally I got both brackets installed but headlamp relocation, which I thought would be easy peasy was unfortunately not easy. There is a jig that needs to be unwired and rewired so I think I'll just have an auto electric shop do it for me. ![[Linked Image]](https://jawad.zenfolio.com/img/s/v-10/p3890571643-5.jpg) Is it sensible to cover the motor cooling fins? Airflow is essential to keep engine temperature at an acceptable range. Just my 2 cents

I found that the "British brackets" left the turn signal indicators in touch with the wheel framing. I put them on and then used a long tire iron to slightly persuade them out wards at the end so the indicator light was away from the wheel frame.

I think you mean control arm or a-arm when you say wheel framing?
