Good Morning All, ( welcome to the newbies who joined up earlier today) From UK and South of France.
As you all know this years holiday has had to cancelled. This e-mail is just to confirm the rescheduled date for 2021. Sail out of Liverpool Fri 13th August. 2021 Sail back Thurs 19th August. 2021 Precise details to follow later including where we stay in Liverpool pre trip.
Although this is annoyingly a long way away yet it is probably for the best in the current circumstances. This years trip was to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the MTWC, the trip next year has reverted to a Goggles and Gauntlets do to keep the flag flying. Amazingly only one person is unable to attend the revised date and I am sorry about that, however we have had an amazing response from others who wish to come on this holiday. So we have filled the spaces we had and even have a reserve list now. We appreciate that current circumstances may make it difficult for some and they may have to cancel in the future. We would ask that you let us know of this asap so we can fill the space and use the new persons deposit to return yours. All those who currently have lodged a deposit are on the trip. We only managed to get final confirmation from the hotel on Friday that our booking for next year is secured now, they have agreed to keep the price the same ( no free Gala Dinner, but that was inevitable in the circumstances) When I looked at one of the Classic Car Tours brochures the other day the exact same holiday, hotel etc was over double the price we have so i believe we have a really good deal. The Steam Packet Co have said they will do their utmost to keep to the fantastic deal they gave us this year ( outside influences permitting) We had lined up multiple special visits on the Island and the places were all eager to welcome our group. So we have moved all visits to the new dates, we are being allowed access to the private area in front of The Laxey Wheel for a visit and photo shoot, we are granted permission to park in front of the Main House and gardens on the Miltown Estate for a visit and photo shoot plus all the major visitor attractions are ready to welcome us. Vellikas Indian restaurant will still be ours one evening too Plus, we shall be driving on the TT course a lot I think. We are only a small number away from being able to afford to hire the Jurby Racetrack for a taster session too and we will see what we can come up with on that. The week we have chosen is just before the TT Classic so there will be the right atmosphere, a load of Mogs and a great crowd of people. Come prepared to make lots of new friends and have some fun in the evenings too! As we have said before you will also have lots of spare time to yourselves as well for that romantic walk!! We are looking forward to meeting everyone with people coming from the EU, Florida, NZ and all over UK. We shall do a revision of the itinery and price confirmation in the future when things settle down. As we always say any questions.... just ask Best Wishes, stay safe, Ian and Maria LIST OF ENTRANTS TO FOLLOW.

There will probably be quite a few bikers there the week before racing trying to emulate their heros. For those who have never visited, best advice is to always drive theTT course in the race direction i.e. clockwise. Failure to do that could find you with a bike coming round a bend towards you on your side of the road! Bear in mind that speeds on road bikes of 150mph + are not unusual, especially on the mountain, so closing times are very rapid. Good luck to all...it’s a very special place. THINK BIKE!

Many thanks to Ian for providing "Idiot Proof" instructions for uploading pictures. More thanks to Peter - The TM-Images administrator who sorted the mess I created trying to open my account. If all goes well you will find three pictures of the Park Hotel attached, taken August 2019 when we did a pre-scout to look the hotel over while visiting the Isle of Man for the Classic TT These are two views from the park (Inland from the hotel) and one across the adjacent sports ground. Must say we are looking forward to taking the M3W to the island next year. Even more thanks to Ian for helping with our awkward requests related to G&G 2021. Sorry to Highjack this thread Ian /Planenut, but I'm still having trouble with pictures. Can I experiment here. I tried to put some pictures into Morgan gallery as it's not a three wheeler but I think will be of interest to many - Corvette powered 4 wheeler taken by a friend at a car show in the USA. I copied / pasted the BB codes, checked the preview and tried to post, but it told me "No pictures attached. Does the gallery have a different system? Can I try the pictures here ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/05/02/IMG_6307.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/05/02/IMG_6318.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/05/02/Engine-pic-download.jpg) The preview looks good (It did in Morgan Gallery), lets see what happens when I Post. Note the Corvette steering wheel fitted. Allan
