Hey skullmog, do you remember the push button foot switches to dip the headlamps? There is always a way unless the darned ecu gets involved. im afraid the headlamps go through that dreaded control E.C.U. plus where on the floor going to squeeze a switch

possible use like a windscreen washer switch (spring loaded) use one for headlamp flash, one for dip/main, one for changing display on speedo and a two way spring loaded(like an old fashioned electric aerial)for indicators..... four extra switches to find a home in the dash Maybe the original not looking so bad!

My indicator stalk broke off on Sunday drive today. Seems like something that shouldn't break, but not really surprised at this point. Would laugh, but think i'm out of warranty and the idea of paying a bunch of money for a new one (that will break again in two years) doesn't feel great right now...

I wonder if it is a Peugeot since the key is from one.

At least three others on this forum (incl. me) have had this problem. Did it break inside its sleeve under the rubber gaiter? It will be a warranty repair if yours is still current.

It broke right at the base.
Just now getting back to this after a bit of a crazy summer... one in which the throttle cable also snapped while in the fast lane of a busy highway...
I had Morgan order me a new stalk, just got it today, and it's not the simple little thing that matches the car.
Part number and images match a 2002-2005 Land Rover Freelander. Switches for headlamps and all which don't even run through the stalk? And wanting to charge me $200 when on eBay for $30. Not so happy.
Looking into what options there are that might be more period or closer to the original. If someone can help me identify another stalk that would work and be more appropriate for the car would be much appreciated!
Thanks, Adam
