In the process of installing my new fender lights, I noticed that the camber seems to be out a fair bit on the right side. Not a precise measurement, but the left seems to be about 1/2 degree negative, while the right side is more like 3 degrees negative. Just measured roughly with a level against the wheel. The difference is quite noticeable if you look at the front of the car straight-on. It drives fine, and nothing unusual seems to be going on with the steering.

Does anyone know what the specs call for? Can't find it anywhere, and there is no adjustment of any kind anyway.

I'm wondering if it's possible it came this way, or perhaps if a minor incident in a car park last year may have contributed to it. I was driving through the lot, and a SUV started backing out just as I was going past him. Blew the horn, he stopped, I stopped, but not before my right tire scrubbed a nice black rubber streak about 2' across his white back bumper. No apparent damage to the right wheel, tire, or fender, and the fender never even contacted his bumper. I chalked-it up to SUV driver inattentiveness, and as no damage was apparent, and he apologized, we went on our way. I didn't notice anything unusual after the incident, but I didn't go home and measure the camber either. There are no visible issues with anything on the right side suspension arms or upright. No vibration, and the wheel runs true. I've done a quick check, and doesn't seem that the ball joints have any play in them.

So I don't really know if the camber issue: a) came that way; b) caused by something worn; c) caused by a pot hole strike; d) caused by the minor rub in the car park.

If from the car park, I can't imagine what may have bent that would cause no other symptoms. Perhaps the spindle is bent where it is welded to the upright? There is a fair bit of leverage given how far out on the spindle the wheel sits. But I would have thought the wheel would have sustained some damage if that was the case, and it still runs perfectly true.

I guess I could pull both wheels and measuring from the outer end of the spindle to the top of the upright and compare each side, I've no idea how else to identify where the issue may be.

Suggestions and opinions welcome!

Mine came crooked with a strong pull to the right (2016).

Had to install the empire kit and align. I suggest to ignore in case your car tracks straight.

Alignment stock:

Toe: 0 deg
Camber: L: -0.75 deg ; R: -1 deg
Caster: L: +7 deg; R: +5.5 deg

My final specs were:

Toe: set to 0 deg
Camber: L: -1deg ; R: -1 deg
Caster: L: +6 deg; R: +6 deg

Thanks for the specs - at least your camber was close. The Empire kit is a good option... In the back of my mind however is the thought that something actually was bent during the minor car park shunt.

I do not think you can visually see a 1-2 degree difference in camber ;-) i would let it go, if your car drives normally.
