I think you'll find that most Morgan owners are members of MSCC this gives you access to insurance discounts etc. MSCC has a large worldwide following and given the number of aeros built is dominated by non-aero owners. You'll find a local group which organises meets and events, and also other events such as the annual Mog meeting (this year at Newmarket) and trips to the LeMans classic, a well organised event for Morgan owners with a chance for some laps.

From memory annual membership is less than £50 and youll get within this a nice colour monthly mag.

The aero club is a different beast and a few of us have just returned from another excellent club trip. It's not cheap to join but personally I think all the trips we've done have been excellent value for money and I think it'd be fair to say that we've gained access to places that I would have found out of bounds or simply not been aware of.

Personally I'm a member of both and will continue to be different clubs with different approaches but at the core of both is the love of strange wooden cars wink

Welcome Andy.

I live in Reading (Tilehurst) and drive to Vodafone in Newbury most days, so look out for my red four seater Morgan.

The Thames Valley Morgan Owners Club (part of MSCC) is very busy, http://www.thamesmog.co.uk and even has it's own forum on TalkMorgan.

Did you buy your Morgan from Richard Thorne?
