took a little trip over the mountains to Woolwine Virginia

First drive in what feels like a very long time though only to the supermarket and back.
At least nothing seemed to have gone awry with the replacement bearings and seals in the (freshly painted) swing arm.

Longest drive since November last year - all the way from the garage to my front path (in commemoration of VE Day).

At times like these it's useful to have your own Spitfire.

Do you like driving with that abbreviated wheel? It looks like a yoke on a plane and gives a great view of the dash.

It sure does look good👍 Looking forward to your review once you can get back on the road. I can see that driving on the highway might be way better than driving on small roads and parking lots in town.

First run out yesterday since the lockdown, so good to be out. Parked next to a cool old Volvo.

A friend came over so we could practice "Social Distancing" while I helped him adjust belt tension and rear wheel alignment.



We used my lift so I moved out to put his in the air.







It was a nice day seeing our friend and enjoying M3W engaging M3W conversation.
