They have been playing the full 007 series on Italian TV. I watch Octopussy last night. Quite awful really but I still enjoyed it. Somehow or other I don't think I had ever seen it before. It must be the only one that I have not seen several times.

They are favourites on one of the freeview channels here but start so late I never watch the endings.

Wash your potty mouth out sir, there has never been a bad Bond film let alone describing one as awful (with the exception of Never Say Never Again which wasn't really a bond film and for which Connery should be whipped). I throw my gauntlet to the ground and challenge you to a duel, golden guns at dawn on the beach (see what I did there?). Bugger I forgot social distancing, how about we agree to disagree instead of a duel

There was one poor 007 actor... Diana Rigg made up for him though!

Indeed, we should never forget gorgeous George’s abysmal showing but it’s strange how post Bond he went on to such a glittering award filled career only really surpassed by one or two of the “great” actors.

Bond movies...
...will have to feature an invalid carriage, oops sorry an all electric car for Bond... I hope they give it a better sound track than a bl..dy Pious!  As Rowan Atkinson says in "Johnny English Strikes Again" - sounds like an electric nose hair trimmer. I'd recommend the Johnny English films, especially the most recent.

There are been several actors that have played Bond...James Bond....there seems to be some debate as to the best....and the worst... I vote Sean Connery as the best and George as the worst....where does Roger Moore, Daniel Craig, Pierce Brosnan, and even David Niven...where do they fit on your scale?

There was one poor 007 actor... Diana Rigg made up for him though! Difficult one. Today OHMSS is highly regarded amongst Bond fans, whether that's because of Lazenby or in spite of him is debatable. It is one of my favourites and I honestly don't think the film would have worked with Connery or Moore.
