I believe that a traditional looking car needs a traditional colour otherwise it looks like a modern copy.

I think that there are many colours and combinations that are OK, even if I wouldn't choose them.

That was me!! A Morgan friend pointed out your note to me. I have had green, red and blue Morgans. This one came as a bit of a shock, I never dreamt Never ever, that I would own such a colour - quite ridiculous colour but I am totally in love now. John, by the way the flying helmet was to stop the top of the head getting burnt!!

If I could buy a new Plus Six, I would ask the Jaguar Caviar color. We had an XJ with this atonishing color and we loved it so much! Combined with light cashew interior it was awesome.

At night it looked black. At day a very dark burgundy with red reflections when the sun hits on.

One advantage we have with the Morgans is that they are aluminium surfaces. The colours look more intense and beautiful, even the modern water-based paints.

I saw an amazing color, in one of the videos take at MMC, the car was a brilliant salmon/pink color. I would have never picked that color for my car, but had to admit it was stunning....a certain show/traffic stopper. My favorite? As mine is Dark metallic silver....I'd say (for now) she is the apple of my eye....(as she may very well read this, or have someone tell her I prefer another...)

Not every colour goes with every car. If I bought a new Mustang, it would be a special edition Bullitt Montana Green Coupe. But would that be a Morgan color?

People are herd animals. When pottering around the exotic car showrooms pre lockdown I was always struck by how samey were the colours of their second hand stock. Even McLaren, who have a choice of some beautifully bright colous get cgosen in miserable greays and blacks. And for heavens sake who has so little imagination as to buy a Ferrari in black.?

Maybe Morgan, being the choice of people who dont follow the herd is different.

I remember that MMC had a pink 4 seater demo car (driven by PM, I believe). My late mate Andy Simm borrowed it for a show and another mate, previously a car salesman, called it 'nipple pink': only bought by suckers!
