They have been playing the full 007 series on Italian TV. I watch Octopussy last night. Quite awful really but I still enjoyed it. Somehow or other I don't think I had ever seen it before. It must be the only one that I have not seen several times.
That's the one featuring two Moto Guzzi V7 police bikes if I remember correctly. My Sicilan born business partner at the time arranged to provide both of these. One was purchased by EON productions and the other owned by a Guzzi club member, loaned to them. The former was the one scripted to go end over end. In the excitment of filming the director had the loaned one perform this though although being a Guzzi little mechanical damage ensued. It was returned to the owner with genorous fee and new custom made genuine leather two tone seat. We bought back the other.
