4 bolts, under the floor / chassis cross member. Easily done, with a spanner, but I replaced the bolts with Allen key head ones for easier removal in future

If you struggle to get a spanner on the bolt heads in the runners behind the seats a pair of small Mole (Vice) Grips are really helpful.
BR Colin (sounds obvious but don’t forget the upper seat belt fixing on the seats backrest).

Seat belts shouldn't be a problem as they're mounted on the rear wheel arches and no connection to the seats.

My seats have six bolts that go trough the floor 4 at the front and 2 at the back ![[Linked Image]](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49939499771_fd33d92cf8_k.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49939799317_e8523a913c_h.jpg) The big hole is for the nut from the front of the seat

Thanks Dirk. Are the frames mounted on wood?

Just had my seats out on 2011 roadster, looks the same. Renewed all nuts bolts in stainless, the 4 rear ones being Allen head machine bolts as the heads fit nicely in the channels, the front ones keep as hex head as you can reach across with long ring spanner whilst undoing/fastening underneath. MMC.

Thanks Dirk. Are the frames mounted on wood? Yes they are. The originals are wedged with the thinnest end at the front but I've changed them to blocks of the same height so the seat leans more backwards and as a result I sit lower into the car.
