It puts some perspective on how well Morgan have managed the spiky path of the motor industry in the last ten years. He seemed a decent guy but shareholders have little patience and 35p a share is dire. The good news is that AMG bloke is a serious petrol head and has access to some heavy duty tools.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

It would be good if Mercedes took a controlling interest in the business now to create the same sort of platform and support that BMW has for Rolls Royce and VW Group has for Bentley.

Yes - the Vantage and the V8 version of the DB11 have the 4.0l V8 from AMG. They also have a lot of the Mercedes Benz electrical systems.

Yes but profitable at long last - they are providing what the customer wants which is the secret of success you are not their target audience and nor am I  I wouldn't worry too much about your comment though I really don't think they visit these parts

I also think it's more about target groups in China and Russia for these cars. Perhaps Mercedes has a better hand in caring for the Aston Martin brand and the design language. BTW, the New Continental doesn't look that bad to me.
