Nothing wrong with my oil burner - we had some good trips and holidays in that smile Needs to be driven more though.
As for Bluevein I rather like that, being a fan of many cheeses laugh2

I've tried several names but none has stuck. Pickersleigh was one, and Treen another--treen being small antiques made of wood, which seems appropriate for my 1960 Plus 4.

My Morgan Plus 4 is called "Marty", I don't really know why I subjected the car to that name but it seems to fit! My previous Bentley Arnage was called "Bertie" as it had gentlemanly connotations, however the ownership of said Bertie was akin to a major bank account leak, so something else may have been more appropriate!!!!!

My '34 SS MX4 was "Basil" ( Faulty Towers), and the 4/4 is "Percy", named by a long, long ago girlfriend.

My '65 105E is just "The Anglia"

I name everything including our local animals such as Eddie Elk and Deidre Deer so the Morgan's too:

+8 is Maurice (he is definitely a boy) , 4/4 is Megan (she is definitely a girl) and the M3W is Olga (after my Mum she was a character)

I appreciate all the great responses....and of course I have/had an ulterior motive...as I keep coming up with names for the new car...name and gender...for whatever reason, probably due to the color, it does not feel like a female name would be appropriate...but who knows...Par of the challenge is to arrive at/discover a name that suits the car, but also suits the driver.

I laughed at the comment...other cars don't deserve names....tintops….etc.

And a good comment on keeping the name the car came with is also interesting....

The previous owner christened mine Roger ..... definitely doesn seem right to me for some unfathomable reason ..... will just wait until it picks it's own name somewhere down the line (I use the same philosophy with cats) .... my understanding of the Nautical naming tradition was 'change her name change her luck' .... so you wouldn't change a lucky ship's name ..... as my Morgan came to me rather the worse for wear I have no trepidation about changing her luck.

Hopefully PaulJ is still viewing TM.
His lovely ARP4 is known to some of us Fossils as ‘Matt’.

I never named mine, it's simply " the Morgan" rather appropriate I think.
