The only time I was remotely interested in the value of my car was when I had to buy it.

The reasons I love my 4/4 is the narrow body style, the simplicity and that it doesn’t stress my limited driving skills,

Would I ever change to another model?
Possibly, if a nice coloured, Series 1 3.0ltr Roadster, with full bumpers took my fancy,
But until then, I’m more than happy with the 4/4.

That makes a lot of sense Budster

In my post, I mentioned that I prefer the narrower style of my 4/4.
Just checking the dimensions, my 2003 4/4 is 10 inches narrower than the newest Plus Four and a full 13 inches narrower than the Plus Six!!

The new Morgans are a different size altogether. The new Plus Four looks more than 10 inches wider than a Plus Four. Heres a 'narrow' 4/4 between two new Plus Fours with a Roadster on the end for good measure!.

There is a "First Drive" feature on the Plus Four in Autocar this week.

An interesting article in some respects. But I can't estimate what the author writes about how the chassis behaves when driving faster.
It reads as if it is not so good in principle because the suspension travel is short. But I miss the relation in the article. He should have done the comparison to the traditional Morgan. I can understand the section about the transmission in comparison very well.
With the wheels...isn't it true that the aluminium wheels are cheaper and also 15 inch?

Edit,
Sorry, the threads get tangled. I might have written this better on the CX Forum.
On the topic "Value of a late 4/4". I'm not too worried. It is there, it will stay as long as all factors allow.
