My thoughts are to try to avoid as much crowds as possible to minimise the need for a mask/gloves.
I will use and dispose of masks as needed. Having used the 3M masks with nose bridge seals it is not difficult to get a decent seal. Practice makes perfect. I have some nitrile gloves that are thicker than the thin blue ones. Bought to use for garage or other jobs. They are hugely more durable. Unless badly dirty I wash my hands with them on so gloves get cleaned. Less stress on my hands due to extra washing.
As lockdown eases I won’t be hurrying out to people dense areas ( too many dense people!). Any trips will avoid the hotspots like Gower or Pembrokeshire beaches but be inland to some quieter places. Luckily we have a lot to choose from here in West Wales.
The Cummings effect is already causing rule stretching/ignoring so risk is higher than it could be.

We are not wearing any protection but avoiding any unnecessary contact and utilising steriwipes entry and exit points, here is the Dorset idea of distancing or the Cummings effect in action yesterday Stupidity personified

When I drove past our local beach of Blackpool Sands they appeared to be acting quite sensibly at the time.

Stay safe out there boys and girls.

Exactly.
The two best ways to nuke the virus is to use a wipe impregnated with methylated spirit, or bleach. Both destroy the lipid membrane and disrupt the RNA.
Anti bacterial wipes kill bacteria.
But so do bleach and meths.
This is my home made spray, one bottle of B@Q Meths, about £2.00 and the spray head from a deicer bottle.

Both are not good on skin, they dry skin and can cause "chapped" hands.
The Meths spray is rather a fire hazard, atomised meths burns like atomised petrol.....so common sense is needed. Spray it on to an anti-bact wipe, and use that.
The smell is a bit off putting too.

Leave the car in the sun for a day, windows shut.
The temperature reached will also kill any virus particles.

From next Wednesday we will only be obliged to wear masks when entering closed spaces, shops, supermarkets, etc.

At least that will put an end to the current farce where 50% of the people are either not wearing masks or wearing them under their noses or chins,.

I stopped publishing the official figures from Italy as I have little faith in them and it was all getting a bit boring. None the less there has been a significant drop in the numbers over the last month.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Covid-19 - Data 31 May, 6 p.m.

There are 233,019 total cases since the beginning of the pandemic:

42,075 people currently positive
33,415 deceased
157,507 healed.

Changes from the previous bulletin:

+ 355 new positive cases
+ 75 deceased
+ 1,874 healed

Among the 42,075 currently positive (- 1,616):

35,253 are in home seclusion (- 1,308)
6,387 hospitalized with symptoms (- 293)
435 in intensive care (- 15)

There are 3,878,739 (+ 54,118) swabs carried out

Kickstarter is showing a new toy to help wearing a mask with glasses - I have not tried it but the person is ex-Apple so it will at least look pretty.
