John, have you tested whether the steering will automatically return to straight ahead after a bend with the new setting? It should.

John, SiFab have the gaiter and adapters already, will save you having to spend time searching.
Regards
Phil

Thank you Heinz and Treesurveyor. The steering is now spot on and self centres fine. I have just ordered everything from Simon, £30 plus vat, and look forward to fitting it.
Stay safe,
John.

My progress, as previously mentioned I purchased a replacement gaiter and adapter kit from SiFab. Unfortunately the adapters didn’t fit as it seems I have an unusual Jack Knight rack. Not to fear, I sent Simon the dimensions of adapters to fit my rack and he printed them of that evening ! Yes I did say printed, he makes them on a 3D printer, the joys of modern technology, and needless to say they fit perfectly.
Some thoughts if you do this job. Because the gaiter comes from a Daewoo it is too long, but it just means the bellows compress a bit more. Also, the centre holes which seal the bellows to the rack are slightly too narrow, but there is plenty of flex to make it fit. After all it is a Morgan and a bit of adjustment is always required !
The car is happily back on the road but I will get the tracking checked, just as a precaution.
I have no connection with SiFab but thank Simon for his excellent service as a very satisfied customer.
Stay safe and cheers,
John.
