Has anybody tried fitting the smaller LED lights that you see on Adventure bikes like BMW GS? They seem very bright, and would be much smaller and lighter than the standard ones which are heavy, and don't work very well?! I thought it might give quite a nice clean look too.

Charles Kirby put Caterham 5" lights on his which seemed to work well.
