Gordon I am in awe of the dove tail and matched grain detail of your boot box , but do you not fully trust your chiropractor- stopping on the way home for painkiller?

Today I had a quick drive into the garage.
The day started warm and sunny and I got the little red one out for a proper wash and wax procedure.
After parking behind the garage I had to return to the house to answer some phone calls when it suddenly became darker and than there was a hailstone knocking at a window... Took me seconds to run out and get the car back to the secure garage space. Felt like a classic LeMans start procedure.

That was the situation some minutes later when I was back to the house

After 9 weeks of not using the Mog & a bit of personal sh*t to deal with last week, I really needed a drive out...

Yesterday evening run & a rare opportunity to get a shot outside the Bakewell Pudding Shop (closed) it's usually packed with tourists

A 30 minute run in the Weinviertel to bed in: New Kingpins (chrome hardened from Melvyn Rutter), new bushes top and bottom, new damper blades and wedges, new spax shock absorbers and a motor tune. Brilliant. Despite it's 52 years and 102 thousand miles on the clock the Morgan formerly known as TWP is driving like a new one. Handling much improved especially during hard cornering on uneven road surfaces. Scuttle shake banished to the history books. Well, at least to recent history, it being a Morgan and all.

And Heinz, I managed to miss the hail stones! Blimey the weather is changeable.

Thanks for the compliment Waikiore, I do trust my chiropractor but whisky is the best thing to kill the coronavirus apparently. wine

I'm sure it's a lot of fun with all the new parts of the suspension, Auster. I'm glad you were able to avoid the hail thumbs

The magnificent 4/4 of former Morgan Owners Club of Australia President (Western Australia), John Stacy parked in the garden of a very cosy guesthouse in Tasmania as part of our 6-week tour through Melbourne, Tasmania and South Australia a little while back. This shot made the cover of our Club magazine.

The Morgan is safe in her garage but it was time for the Auburn Boat Tail to step out of the driveway
with new wheels and tyres...

Just a stunning machine, great pic too. A few years back I saw a Blue Auburn on the road below me while on holiday in Spain, wonderful... Thanks for posting the pic.
