Not sure what the definition of a bodge is but the last thing I made in wood was our garden room. ![[Linked Image]](https://cdn.instructables.com/F0F/23Z4/JZN5BH7L/F0F23Z4JZN5BH7L.LARGE.jpg)

Many thanks, I built it myself but copied commercial ones. I have logged the build process here; https://www.instructables.com/id/Build-a-Garden-Room/

Thanks guys, it was only sawing and fixing together some wood.
What makes it is the Cedar Cladding and the Rubber Sheet Kit for the roof.

I have "rebuilt" the bird feeding station. The old steel pole rusted through a couple of years ago. Found amongst my collection of ally poles a suitable pole (though a bit shorter than the steel one).

We have managed since we were married with a small larder fridge under a work top. Recently, I have been increasingly annoyed with having to re-stack the b thing every time I returned with our weekly shop. 2 weeks ago, Mrs F finally wearied of the post-Morissons expletives and authorised the purchase of a proper big fridge. That left a gap under the work top. Unwilling to shell out for a whole new kitchen and knowing that the doors on our 24 year old cabinets are unavailable, I bought a 600mm base unit and a gloss white door. We have lived with the gap looking like an appliance for 24 years so this seemed the most expedient solution. The only thing I hadn't ordered was a piece of chipboard to fill in the gap at the bottom of the unit - it seems wasteful to buy a 2m length for 640mm. Looking in the garage for some melamine faced offcuts to cut down to the right size, at first I couldn't find anything long enough. Then I spied a piece hidden on top of a cupboard in the garage. A swift once-over with the trusty tape measure showed it to be exactly the right size. Once cleaned up, it still has the paint on it from when the house was built and the skirting boards in the kitchen were painted - it was the piece we took out to get the fridge in the slot 24 years ago. The moral of this story - never, ever, throw away pieces of wood or metal. You never know. Quite pleased with the result. Mrs F is happy too - she really doesn't want to shell out on a new kitchen. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/06/05/IMG_3177.jpg)
