The Chinese are told what they need to know , nothing more. Free press doesn't exist . THe poor sods in Hong Kong know different & I know my HK colleagues saw themselves as very different to mainland Chinese. But as we now see the Chinese juggernaut will swallow them up & stop any protests on free speech.
I admire Boris for offering the freedom for these clever people to move to the UK

The security controls for local Chinese are also phenomenal. You can't board a train or visit a major location such as Tinnamen Sq without an ID check.
