Good work Lightspeed, certainly started well and will be interesting to hear your views after a road test.
Still no sign of oil at the rockers at the end of the video, it’s surprising how long it takes at tick over to get up there!

I have roller rockers fitted, over 4 years ago.
I cant say it has made the engine any quieter - possibly a tad louder on valve clatter but nothing overly concerning.
Performance differnce post fitting is noticable - it is more free revving , on acceleration the revs just shoot up as far as you want with no hesitation.
This was with Morgan stage 2 exhausts which were already fitted , and I get the same with the G56 pipes currently fitted.
It did have an ECU tune up on a rolling road at the time post fitting , which may have helped , no idea how much though.

Obie, yes it is surprising how long it takes. I poured oil over the rockers before starting and that was after an overnight soak in oil.

Nippy mog, I have the AR Stage 1 pipes too, but I finished boring out the oem mufflers so I plan to swap to see how it works. Nobody here to adjust the locked ECU so I will see how well the self mapping goes. I suspect that it will work ok but a retune would undoubtedly be best.

The ease of reving was evident just sitting on the lift. Usually it would cough a bit but not now.

Without an unlocked ECU to at least reflash (but preferably remap), is this not a Stage 1.5 upgrade? Can the factory ECU self-adjust to deliver Stage 2 benefits?

Since my nearest dealership is a solid 3 day drive each way I doubt any MMC people will get their hands on the ECU. If I did anything with it I would get an unlocked ECU mapped for the cams already..

We will see how it runs, and after all I was looking for a smooth running engine and not necessarily more power, but I did expect an upgrade in power would happen.

I was thinking the same thing, but the hazing from heat and hot oil on one side and people touching and wiping it from the outside might make a mess. But is sure would look nice for awhile😊

The stock ECU can not accommodate Stage 2 cams.

In what way? Less power? If so how much less?

It sure would be nice if S&S would unlock the ECU...
