A very nice landscape, Hannes. What is your opinion regarding the TTrac2 so far?

My 3rd set of tires.
The original Conties were OK on dry roads but bad in the rain as has been confirmed by others here.
I changed to Vredestein Classics and was quite satisfied with road holding. The dimension was 185x70. The car felt great on the straight but did understeer at cornering.
Now I have TTracs in the original 165x80 dimension. Actually the best solution so far. Good at straight lanes but now much better at cornering. Oversteering is possible and street response is excellent. The narrow tires are perfect for fun driving.

Yes, I can confirm what you say, Hannes. BTW I have set one degree of camber which helps a bit to avoid under steering, same tyres. Pressure is 1,8 bar in my case. The tyre delivers good suspension with good control in curves.

Not a very nice day for a run out today, but Wednesday offered an opportunity for a run to Winnats Pass, very steep at 1:5 in places but the uphill drive is a great opportunity to burn off some excess hydrocarbons - or as we say oop north 'boot it pal'

+1. I like also the anti glare strip on the top of the windscreen.

Had to sort out swmbo Snr's lap top as it wasn't getting email. Did that & convinced her to escape the retirement flats on Sunday for lunch at our house as part of our "bubble". So not only a great Mog drive but also brownie points for now.

I stopped by the sea where there was still low lying mist. What a pleasure to be out again.

John, what is the significance of the great big rock on the road?
