Hello 3 Wheeler pilots! drive

I wrote a simple thread in the Malvern Arms about our dreams to travel around Spain, Portugal and…. Morocco!

It looks like Morocco attracts more people than we though, and we’re happy with it!

Ana María and I have been together in Morocco more than ten times (and myself, adding my trips when I was younger and now professional ones, probably more than 25 times there…). sunny

So, we know the country and its places and roads quite well. And as Ana María, through her bespoke travel business sells many tailor-made trips to Morocco every year, she knows the right places to stay and gets interesting rates. shades

Would you like to drive for 11 days in Morocco? 2400 km / 1500 mi and an estimated 36h25min behind the wheel, in astonishing North African roads?

We can make it a little shorter or longer, but the route / days would cover the main Imperial Cities (Meknes, Fez, Marrakech and Rabat), the most Southern ancient Roma ruins, a night in a tent by the dunes of the Sahara Desert, cross the Atlas mountains, and all this through beautiful landscapes and villages. camera

If we gather a group of adventurers, Ana Maria can build a detailed itinerary quite fast, with a realistic budget per person. work

As her job is to do bespoke travel, we can discuss and change things and adapt to everyone’s wallet. thumbs

It’s not for this year, but maybe for the next one? Or 2022?

Let’s talk! And see if this idea becomes a real adventure! joy

I would possibly be interested in a trip in late 2021, there are some interesting looking mountain passes to drive in the Atlas Mountains south east of Marrakech.

tmg513, it's so fun to visit the Ourzazate film studios grin2 Amazing to see how many famous movies and series were shot there…

In November 2018 in another one of our trip to the desert we passed by a shooting scene on the road. A film with Johnny Depp they said…

We were with five young 18 years old daughters of friends of us, and the first thing they saw was the Toyota pickup with the big machine gun, the guys with the AK47 and the Isis flags: they almost peed themselves! laugh2

Then they saw the cameras and all the jazz...

Exactly, what a beautiful place and I sure wish it were possible to attend such a gathering, especially with the Three Wheeler group! What fun :-)

The light at the end of the tunnel is actually a train. 2019 M3W
