Are the Moroccan roads good enough for a tour in a Morgan? I was planning to do it in a Landrover!

I would second Essaouira, it is an amazing old port.

I've driven on much worse roads than Morocco's in a Morgan.

We may be interested, depending on time of year/not clashing with anything else. A little uneasy about a tent in middle of the desert, might get lost trying to find a loo in the middle of the night !! Also doubt i will be taking a pee under a tree and risking a goat falling on me too. Keep us informed.

It's clear we have to talk and make sure the dates we choose do not overlap with any other attractive trip.

About the tent in the desert…. it's a camp, with full confort. Your tent will have a nice double bed, air conditionning, bathroom with nice shower, etc. So it's a TENT in capital letters grin2

After driving many hours in our 3 Wheeler, I don't think anyone would accept to sleep on the floor under a creepy tent, and dig a hole in the dunes to fertilize under the moonlight the nonexistent vegetation rofl

Absolutely. The roads are very decent. Potholes are really rare. Unless you take very unusual roads and go really South, you don't need a 4x4 to travel around the country.

And surprisingly, you have mobile signal along the main roads, even if you're close to the desert.
