The Tizi n' Test pass was fine in my Fiat Punto in 2017. No children threw any stones at it.

Hmmm. I see that the topography is similar to the desert where I live. I've also been subject to stone-throwing in Juarez, plus the added attraction of getting caught in the cross-fire between warring drug cartels.
No doubt your trip will be a great adventure, but I would rather wait for the Navarra or Portugal experience. I will send a message to AM.

Regards,

Tom

Ok gentlemen. More questions and comments.

First of all, the question: we would like to know if you would come alone, or with a co-pilot ( swmbo or a friend). It can also happen that you come driving alone your 3 Wheeler, but someone else of the group is very good friend with you, and you plan to share the room despite the smelly feet and snoring.

This is to have a clearer picture of how many double and single rooms we can estimate. No need to say that prices are different.

About how to get to Tanger.

First option - Ferry crossing from Algeciras to Tanger Med - For Spanish, Portuguese, South West France and also for the uk (from UK you may take the ferry to Bilbao, and drive South accross Spain. It's at least a two days drive).
The Speedy Marmots can join you in Madrid - where we live, and the best option for your first night in Spain. A second night close to Algeciras' Port, South Spain would be the starting point before the crossing and starting the Moroccan adventure.

Second option - Ferry from Barcelona to Tanger - For any French living South Central France it can be interesting. However this ferry takes 29 hours, and it might be better to drive to Southern Spain and join the group in Algeciras. It depends on what you prefer...

Third Option - Ferry from Sète (France) to Tanger. - Good for any French living South East France.

Fourth option - Ferry from Genova (Italy) - Good for anyone in the Milan área, South East France and also German, Swiss and Austrian pilots. Hannes? Come on and join us! shades

Javier,

Like Roger we would take Option 1.

This sounds a really interesting trip and we are both keen to join you.

I was last in North Africa in 1976 when with two mates we travelled via Tangier to the Sahara - destination Tamanrasset. A great experience in a long wheelbase Landrover.

Javier, thank you for the invitation but I have different plans already.
Nevertheless I think you started a great project.👍

My thoughts are we would do our previously planned 2020 Le Mans trip, now 1-5 July 2021, after, travel south to our friends home in Southern France, leave the Aero there for however long
until the advised date is confirmed for us to meet in Morocco as long as its not to long @ Sept 2021 would be good but open to the final dates agreed.

fly home then back to France when necessary, collect the Aero

Drive the Moroccan adventure then make our way back to the UK how who knows, but that's what its all about.

2 persons i am provisionally in. can you imagine the glare coming from that paint work
