Karen at Moto-Lita has kindly offered to send me the plastic job until mine is sorted out.

Seems to me that it would be a simple matter to machine a shallow annular groove at the appropriate depth in every wheel boss. Then the rubber "o" ring would locate with that, and the problem would be sorted. But then if they don't acknowledge that there is a problem ...

I have a Motolita with just an insert that used to drop out until 2 very small drops of Bostik cured the fault
the lip on the insert was too small for tape. The glue spots are in line with the Morgan wingtips for ref should the insert need lifting out.
Bloody nuisance when driving!

Vincentvg,
very much the former -- we even describe one of our local bits as an "African Road" some of the guys over here use it to decide on the best setting for adjustable shocks!!!!!!!

Cheers!

Robbie,
Sounds like you need one of those Africar thingies. Slight Mog association, as they're made of wood grin2

Cheers,

I had the same problem and used the insulating tape "fix". In an added twist, on my first timed run at Forrestburn hillclimb a couple of weeks ago, the matching Morgan tax disc holder unscrewed itself and flew across the car, ending under my feet. At the time, I was in the middle of a series of adverse camber "esses" .......interesting!

I had the same problem just last week while negotiating some fairly bumpy roads on Tiree. Never had the problem on the last car, but that did loose the front wing stay bolts both sides and three radiator mounting bolts after a few days in Belgium

cheers

I lost a front wing stay bolt early on.
Need to check regularly!

Keep promising myself a visit to a Forrestburn meeting, but they frequently clash with other events I'm involved with.

Looks like it will have to be next year now...

Cheers,
