Well I think the car in the link would indeed be a wonderful car to drive on a Sunday morning.

However I suspect it could not have matched my old Morgan`s ability to be enjoyed while touring Southern Europe all those years back when the weather turned to cold and very wet....?

Morgan`s weather gear might not be the easiest/quickest to put in place but it does the job in a way that may not be available in such wonderful vintage race car shape, which if it has any weather gear available is likely to spoil the whole concept... I guess you just have to tough it out, much as those who take on long trips in REAL Vintage cars do...?

Great that they are making this type of car. Might not be a tourer, more a Sunday at the pub car and going to the Races.
I'm hoping that Morgan start to sell the new CX chassis to a new breed of coachbuilders who have vision and the craft to create some beautiful cars, like this Kougar and perhaps a coupe in the style of the early 50's AC, Alfa and Ferraris - many others too.

Saw a Kouger Jaguar parked at Competa, Spain (George will know where that is). Very pretty car and much smaller than thought it would be, subjectively about the same size as a Mog .

I've owned three Kougars and would have another at the drop of a hat. They're built on a proper tubular spaceframe chassis which is massively strong. Jaguar independent suspension all round. No scuttle shake, impressive ride quality and excellent handling are the result. They're usually fitted with a windscreen and weather equipment, unlike the example in the video. They were originally designed by Crosswaite and Gardiner, a company with credentials.

The one in the video is for sale at £40k. It was sold by the owner for £25k a few months ago.
