Brian. a truly great driver probably the best in our lifetime but I think he has probably pulled out the race card too many times and this will overshadow his immense talent sadly...

It is a puzzle to me why there is so much hate for one of the finest F1 drivers of all time.
Indeed.

Regarding Vettel. Apart from a few successes, Vettel remains the new talent that is already outdated. A new generation is at the start. Vettel is, in my opinion, the strange combination of an aggressive mimosa.

I feel sorry for Seb in a way and he has undoubtedly achieved greatness but all with Red Bull. I think he lives in the shadow of Michael to an extent and truly believed he had the ability to lift Ferrari through his experience but this has not happened and there must be some sense of failure involved maybe.
Conversely watching Leclerc wring the best out of his car maybe Seb has just lost the hunger now he is a family man and lifts a little earlier.
Seb needs to retire gracefully now with so much incredible raw talent on the grid today he has no chance with these guys seldom making errors.
I thoroughly enjoyed the racing (having FF through the political bit) and from P2 downwards was some great racing going on and looking forward to next weekend.

I agree Rich, I have been saying for some time that IMHO ( which isn't worth much I know ) that Seb should retire gracefully. The clever thing that His Highness Sir Michael did was to bring into Ferrari all the key players of the period and build them around his vision and requirements. It took a bit of time but boy when it came on song he was untouchable. Then you have to look at his come back with Mercedes which was a dismal failure. This coming weekend should see Max in top form with Charles and perhaps either of the McLaren boys mixing it up. I studiously ignore all the ridiculous politics and show boating and concentrate on trying to enjoy the racing.
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg
