A few posts back there was a question about the brake manufacturer. If it is Caparo it is the current manufacturer of what was AP brakes. According to Wikipedia it is currently owned by Raicam Industries which is an Italian company, Not to be confused with AP racing which is owned by Brembo. One way or another there seems to be an Italian connection.

I'm hoping a test drive goes well whenever it comes when it's all a bit safer.

Automatic box seems the best option dynamically and avoids any recurrent problems with my long standing cartilage problems with my left leg.

I might get them to swap the steering wheel over to the other side too grin2

Very nice, Richard. I love the new aluminium wheels together with your choice of beautiful colour and interior. It looks a bit like a metallic paint?

Thanks Heinz, it's the straight Sport Green colour the configurator makes it look a little sparkly, my 4/4 Sport had the same colour scheme and I really liked it with the tan leather.

Nice one, Richard. The sport green/alloys combo is exactly what I'd go for, but for me I think I'd prefer a darker brown or mulberry for the leather as I'm a grubby sod and would probably end up marking a lighter shade.

If that combo is supposed to be Sport Green and Honey (tan) leather then the configurator is way out (too much chrominance). The pebble finish leathers as shown in the price catalogue give a false impression as well. In reality when fitted and trimmed it gets stretched to a much smoother finish. Maybe a ploy to get the customer to order the more expensive soft grain leather.

I had the above combo on my M3W and IMO the real thing looks a lot better.

How will you cope without the V8 Rumble Rich? somestick

You can get a sound stick to make a pretend noise?

For me the interior has to be black, and on a new build that's it. If I were to search second-hand, then at a push I would go red, or maybe green but that's it.

Everybody knows my paint colour preferences, so I'll leave it there!

A whiff over £70k for this spec, which means I would have to sell both mine, for a modern Morgan with limited fettling, so that won't happen any time soon.

Allon Whites have sent me a lovely thick ply wood post card inviting me for a test drive. But I struggle as you do Dave with the cost jump & lack of fettling.

Yes John, exactly that. When this happened with the 3.7Roadster, for me it made more sense to put that £30Kplus into a second Morgan which is what I did.

I can't justify a third Morgan. I suppose I could keep one of mine and get a Plus 4, but then I'm like £35k less cash rich, but with fewer benefits.

Maybe if I get older and stiffer, and wanting an easier time I might be more tempted, but right now I'm not.

But that yellow P4 does look amazing...........
