Series1 2002 NSF indicators Bulb type 3157 12v 27/7 Watts. The 7 watt element is not lighting (elements are Good). Indicators are flashing fast but normal speed using hazards. Must be a relay in the control box but which one!

Talking blind here but...Is the rear one working? If so, that would tend to rule out relay. Could be a corroded contact, faulty plug and socket or break in the wire somewhere?

All the bulbs are working except the NSF 7watt element., which is good doesn't light up.

If you wiggle the bulb in the holder there's a fair chance it will light up shes'e getting on a bit and the holders corode, also the wires will be quite brittle as theres no protection from the elements. I did a partial re wire around the lights and horn last year same problem as you but with the horn intermittant as well. while your underneath check the headlamp contraption is cable tied to the body a must on the series1 as they can vibrate and detach from the headlight and are about 180 quid each which I found out to my cost. I think you have a simple fault so good luck fixing it.

As above, there's probably some corrosion in there. I had the same issue on mine last year - I took all the bulbs out, lightly sanded the contacts (in the holders and on the bulbs) and everything returned to normal.

Theres a product on the market called "Bulb Grease". You put it on the bulb terminals and it stops corrosion. Could be at Halfrauds or at your local marine supplier. I've used it on various vehicles and it works.

Problem solved, the wings had been off the car to a just the sterling rack. When replaced the two wires for the NSF indicator bulb holder were put into the centre and left pins (not me) which is incorrect. The two wires should put onto the two outside pins. All working now.
