I am interested in bidding for a 2007 Morgan Aero 8 Series 3, its being auctioned this weekend. I would love any feed back on this particular model pro’s and con’s, I was due to view it today but unfortunately will not be able to make it so I have registered a bid online. Has anybody viewed this car or can offer any advice on it. What would be an estimated price for this car? Thanks

I am not familiar with that Aero, however there are very few on the market. Even in the last 12 months I cannot recall another Series 3 for sale, that is likely to be an indicator to how strong the bidding will be. Dealers are regularly advertising for more stock in Miscellany so I suspect there will be a few taking interest. The last one I saw for sale was up for 50K at a dealers, it had double that mileage. There have been a few series 4's sold in the last 12 months they tend to be over 60K. Another thread on this site (see the Aero Forum) has speculated that the price range at the Auction site for the car is very low and is likely to go for a much bigger number. The car certainly looks good in the photographs, best of luck.

A google search turned up this: https://www.coys.co.uk/cars/2008-morgan-aero-8-series-3Thought I'd read somewhere that Coys had gone under?

It is at Historics Auctioneers On Car and Classic Site But as above mentions the estimate is way to low. Considering the dealers are as 38 k for a 2001. The estimate is 28k to 32 k. Add the buyers commission might not be a bargain if bought unseen.

Thanks for the helpful reply’s , I am working so can’t bid in person so have placed an internet bid of 30g. I have not seen the car myself but a friend went to see it yesterday. He said the mot’s supported the mileage and there was a few invoices for servicing the hood was not in great condition although the rest of the car seemed ok.
