First I want to say I am sorry english is not my native language but I want to tell you my personal thougts. I Hope I find the right Words.
Sorry to hear this terrible news.
My family lived for five years with the dying.
We had to accept that life is not fair.
Try to help each other but accept that you also have the right to be weak!
I have noticed that in Germany there are institutions / persons etc. who have a lot of experience with dying. Perhaps in GB are also such opportunities.
Try to speak - if you are able to do this. But I am sorry to say that you have to find your own way.......

Thank you all for your kind words. No, there are no suitable things to say but knowing your thoughts are with us helps a lot. bmgermany - we have been in touch with the Macmillan Nurses and they are really excellent.

Macmillan are great - they helped us with my Father in Law. Take all the help that is offered, when it is offered.
