My car squeaks at the right rear. Any ideas for lubricating the rear springs and hanger without dismantling the car , please? It’s a Sport, so no access through a spare wheel hole.

Yes I’ve got the chain oil spray and also duck oil, and ACF60 . AIso SP50.
But I can’t get at the extreme rear of the springs, that’s the question ? I’m presuming that’s where the squeaking is coming from. I think I need some kind of long flexible aerosol attachment.

That is real a difference.
If the springs make the noise I would try to use my procedere. It works real between the layers of the springs. Also in hope the grease would reach a bigger area wehn you drive a while.
If it's the hanger, I would try a look with a long USB-camera. Than there are very long tubes which you can fix on the aerosols. Sometimes such tubes where in use for car sensors, have a try at a car-electric or carb service.

I just point and spray chain oil in the general direction- I tend to ask my local garage if I can do it when the car is being serviced or MOTd. After watching me do it a couple of times they now do it as part of the service - I provide the oil. Before the winter this year, I tried chain wax and it lasted quite well over the winter. As you say the sport model is not easy to do anything with at the rear end. You may find access is easier from above by removing the shelf behind the seats then spray downwards Either way - it`s a fiddle..

I use Waxoyl via an oil can dipped in hot water first. Works well and has good creeping qualities.

can you get access by removing the tool tray behind the seats?
