Here's mine I made 3 years ago. The protective film is still on the perspex.

I have tried making one, that's the easy bit. Fitting it is the problem as I have a roll bar. Has anyone succeeded?

Here's a link to mine. Its small enough to stay in place when the hood is erected and can quickly be removed and stored behind the seats.

Thanks Roger, looks nice. I have a roll bar with headrest fixed to bar. (no roof or sidescreens fitted) Once in place bolted to back of headrest parcel shelf is closed off. It's the long distance days across Europe, 400 + milers which are the problem. If I wear flying helmet it's not a problem, helmets take up too much space when not worn and you look stupid unless on a race track or on aeros.

I have a Librands rollbar that blicks me from fitting a windblocker that came with the car. It is a removable one with fixing slots that screwed to the inner sides of the shelf area. It also has a mesh apron that fitted over the shelf area with double popper fittings to allow the hood to be fitted. It won’t allow a tonneau cover to be used though. I stored it away and forgot about it. I think a revisit to see how it can be modified is due.

I hope to try Craig's car with, and without it, to do a comparison. Then I'll have to check for corroding brake cylinders. Oh and then spray some duck oil over the springs. I'll have to look at the parts book to see how to get at the front Spring hangers, then fit the metal tee in the heater circuit that I've had waiting on the shelf.
Oh, and I need to fit a radiator guard, since I took the number plate box off. Oh yes, and everyone says I need an aluminium radiator as well. And see to the few patches of body corrosion. And get the wheels off and give them a good cleaning, and while I'm there, check if the tyres are brittle and contributing to the squeaky springs and hard ride. Which reminds me, it was suggested that I change the shocks to get a better ride. And then maybe get the wind stopper. And a Bimini for a trip to Spain, but that would mean getting a side exhaust to avoid fumes. Which might not be needed if I had a wind stopper. Must phone Craig.

My lady of the house carries her own personal wind blocker, it's a blue scarf tied over her head. I had a couple but both blew off in the wind - they were caps and both were irretrievable.

For those with the Librands roll bar, it provides a useful frame so I attached the acrylic wind blocker to the bar with velcro (I had the acrylic made up with slots to take the velcro straps). A trip back from Scotland last year was mostly on motorways with hood down - the blocker worked really well with just a breeze through the hair, not a hurricane!
