Grumpy, I will search my records for the one I bought. You could also measure your current paper one and search the K&N website for their similar sized one.
When researching airflow I read Graham Bell’s book where he quotes tests on airflow and performance differences for different filters/ air supply enhancements. No HUGE improvements but cumulative benefits making up the differences he measured.
Some interesting results.

Thanks for that. I’m thinking about replacing the entire canister so maybe I just need to measure the flange? Read about some possible fuelling issues? Runs lean?

The K&N filter I currently use with my modified intake is F028e4 (came with different rubber flanges)
The K&N filter I used in the original trumpet was A053a8

Hope that helps.

OK, just to tidy up the loose end. I have now fitted the standard air cleaner box with a new Mann paper element and have done a few varying trips in the car. I have to say I have found no difference in everyday driving. This is not checking the performance on a rolling road or with a stopwatch, however with normal driving and some brisk acceleration subjectively I notice no difference. That said I rarely if ever accelerate hard with my foot flat on the floor, changing up through the gears at maximum revs! So for my laid back driving style no problem.

Bit of an old thread, but do you have a part number please for the JR filter? There’s no mention of Morgan on their website. Did you ditch the entire original filter housing?
