My son-in-law is an MOT tester for LMC in Bordon, but he said they couldn't do it so I didn't bother mentioning it. I hear you'd tried them yourself! He said they weren't sure initially and had to refer to the rules, it seems odd that the process is so poorly defined and so few places can do it.
Anyway, I'm glad you found somewhere. Hope it passes with no problems.

Our testers must have more common sense in Yorkshire. Exactly, never had a problem getting the old F Super tested even with it's string brakes, they sometimes use the old Tapley meter
