Received mine this morning to use on my 2010 Roadster 3.0 - when I offered them up I worried just for a moment as actually slightly longer than dealer supplied blades I removed - but easily installed and a perfect fit to the screen with no fouling of the frame and a clean sweep both ways (none of the old LR style sweep and drag back). Also means I can stop trying to hang on to the silly plastic end caps on the old blades which regularly got knocked off when cleaning the screen! Now all I need is for it to rain - not my normal wish for Morgan driving!
Many thanks for getting these made!

Just to put the lid on my post. I ordered a 120 degree gear from CBS and it arrived next day. That has now replaced the 130 degree OEM and my issues have been totally solved without undue detriment to the general wipe area.
In case anyone does a similar job,CBS have an online video but here are additional tips: You’ll need to swing the coolant header tank up a few inches out of the way, to give room to manipulate the wiper box. The circlip was plain with no holes nor ears for a circlip pliers. ( I lost it twice as it pinged away) Having installed the new gear, when trying it before fitting blades, I noticed that it was parking to the left instead of the right. Although CBS mention the little white actuator on the back of the gear wheel for parking, they don’t tell you that it is reversible to the opposite side! (it came fitted for left parking) So had to start all over again and...lose the circlip once more! (this time landed virtually under the rear tyre..) So all’s well that ends well. I sincerely hope that my experience didn’t put anyone off buying these wipers. As others have said, they are really superb and all the commendations to Peter’s initiative are justly deserved. It was just my MOG that someone in the factory couldn't be arsed to do properly in the first place. I have found other things lacking symmetry. Yeah...it’s a genuine Morgan all right!

I also applaude Peter for his initiative. As you know Ihave made do with a CBS combo, but Peter's solution is probably better. What I think is sad is that MMC has used terrible wiper blades for decades now, with no intention to change into something better. When a Morgan owner and TM member manages to fix this issue, MMC certainly could have done it. Well done, Peter. Agreed. This would add pennies to the price of a £70k car and definitely make a difference to the quality feel. They have done such an uplift with the CX cars why leave one of the most rubbish Morgan parts as a carry over? Homologation?!

Splendid, Doug - I am glad I managed to give a little contribution to your morganeering. Now all you have to do is wait for some rain! I do not think your experience puts off anybody else - on the contrary, you managed. When I did this, I took the wiper motor into my kitchen with good light and a limited space if screws and circlips should fly off, and I took pictures as I dismanteled the gear. Just to be sure.....

Many thanks Robbie for your detailed advice and inspiration. Even though I spread an old white bedsheet around the work area, the circlip still managed to jump beyond it!

Having fitted quite a few of my wiper blades to different cars no two Morgans are the same as we know . What has surprised me the most is the variation in the way the arms have been bent by the factory ,later cars seem far worse than older cars . The wipers should sit parallel with bottom of the windscreen and not over lap on to the fame.I am amazed at the poor and cockeyed fit that some newer cars have ,all down to poorly bent and fitted arms by the factory. So I would suggest sorting the arms out first and getting the wipers to sit correctly on the screen . I fitted a set of 7” wiper blades to a 94 plus 8 that still had its original 6” the other day ,.they worked well after removing about an 1/8 of an inch from the rubber at the top end To stop it hitting the top of the screen frame . Then a plus 4 from 2007 all good except one arm longer than the others ,so again a small amount removed from the top end of the rubber to get it to clear the top of the windscreen frame . I have a good supply of blades so thanks to all who have ordered and keep the requests coming . One question asked was regarding replacement rubbers .As the blades are of a standard type the refills can be purchased from most car stores or on line and cut down to the required size ,just save and reuse the two original stainless steel strips.
