Mine arrived this morning.
Fitted

Tested using the screen wash.
A dry screen, with no wet bits left.... notworthy

Brilliant job by Peter, but I have to ask if Peter G can get modern efficient wipers made for Trad Morgans, how can Morgan continue to supply the ancient unsprung and generally useless version from the 1960s they continue to use?

Just fitted my wipers, great fit and superb quality. Thank you Peter.

PS if you get a spare 10 minutes would you mind knocking up a GDI engine cover and a Plus 4 tool tray.
Thanking you in advance and anticipation.

Fully tested in todays weather. Far superior to the OEM smudgers. I suppose you could save the originals if you ever enter concourse at shows!

.As the blades are of a standard type the refills can be purchased from most car stores or on line and cut down to the required size ,just save and reuse the two original stainless steel strips.

I fitted mine today to my 1999 +8 and also needed to do a little trimming with a Stanley knife on the rubber to stop it fouling the top of the screen. It was different on all 3 blades (of course!)

Useful tip about new rubbers , but I expect these will last a few years.

Great stuff Peter , may thanks

One or two are having a problem fitting the blades to early cars because of the 9 stud original hood .
The 6” blades with attachment in the centre sweep bellow the hood over hang ,Changing to the 7” blade fitted to the later easy up hood cars with the off set attachment puts the blade under the hood front edge and may foul on the hood .
Some clear without a problem Others don’t .
So please consider this before changing to a 7” blade .
I am looking in to a 6” blade to alleviate the problem so we can all have a simple fit upgrade.
As for Aero 8 blades if any one can give me dimensions I will look in to that too.

I have followed this thread with great interest.
Purchased my 2010 Plus four in March 2019 and am learning the art of morgan engineering. The windscreen wipers have always been useless, both in terms of cleaning and the fact they drop off the screen onto the chrome frame during the sweep.
So my thanks to Peter for the new blades which work! and to all those on the thread advising on the wiper gearing. I did try 110 degrees initially but this was too "short" 120 degrees is perfect.
If any one needs a 110 gear let me know,
Also replaced the nozzles last week, (just love how the windscreen wash pipework fits in amongst the electrics, outstanding design!!)
So all good on the windscreen from for next weeks road trip to Wales.
Once again thanks to all for their advice,
Regards Neil

MR11MOG .... I'm guessing, if the interference of the blades with the earlier hood is minimal and not universal, that the blades would likely be fine on an earlier 4 seater with its slightly taller windscreen??
