I have a 2006 4/4 and will be taking it to my friendly garage for a MOT at the end of the month and when its in the air l thought I'd take the opportunity to grease the propshaft. To save time could someone tell me exactly where l should be looking for the nipples.
Thanks. Chris

Inside front and rear universal joints plus there may be one on the sliding joint.
Of course if you can’t see them ask if it’s ok to push car forward or back a few inches (don’t assume it might be up against chocks or on swivel plates)
Might be worth asking the tester if he would do it for a drink? Of course your not allowed to distract the tester but then again.......

The rear nipple is accessible, but at the front you may have to access through the floorboards.
There's a slot join, but on my 2012 I had to open up a hole to get the grease gun in.

Go cautiously with propshaft greasing or you may blow the seals. I have never done the fronts due to non access and am not brave enough to cut a hole in the floor only to find it’s in the wrong place. At least the front joints are protected from the elements so may not need as much attention. If any!

I always struggle to get the grease gun onto the UJ nipples. I have found it easier to remove the short nipples and replace them with long reach nipples, just for greasing. Putting the short nipples back after greasing is completed.
