If it helps, this is what the coding looks like, with the square brackets replaced with curly brackets.

{video:youtube}http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HFLjIHNzFg[{video}

Uses the 'insert video' function on TM, and making sure you copy the URL of the video (not any of the Youtube share options), and remove the 's' from 'https'

This is the last time I will try this terrible system. Maybe it doesn’t like Mac products or Morgan just likes unnecessary BS. No more video insertion, I have had my colonoscopy thank you.

I think that might be the issue. On chrome it's dead easy.

We have an 'Apple' free household, for good reason smile

Just indulge me for one final moment - are you copying the address from the address bar, or are you right clicking on the video and using the 'copy video url' function that Youtube gives you?

From the address bar I get: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HFLjIHNzFg
From Youtube Copy URL I get: https://youtu.be/7HFLjIHNzFg

The first one works on the TM system (as long as you remove the 's'), the second one doesn't.

Last try. From the address bar that does not show the address, with the “s” removed.

Well, that did it. It was the way YouTube displays itself rather than the address I want to copy. I even tried mailing myself the link, you guys forgot to add that option😂

Thank you, I will reschedule the colonoscopy.

If the address bar displayed the address it would have been more intuitive, but in Mac fashion it does things differently.

The good thing about Apple confusion is that you don’t get the Blue Screen of Death that Bill Gates provides. Fought that system from its inception since we used his stuff, Windows NT, for work.

Fortran is still the dominant programming language for large scale simulation systems, its parallel array facilities are unmatched.
