It may well be up for sale shortly, however a non techie friend has given a Morgan grille to me to find a new home.

He owned a garage before he retired and one of his customer made grilles for Morgans and gave him a grille he made into a fireguard. Apart from adding a pair of feet to the existing mounting holes he made no other changes so, unbolt the feet and you have a brand new Morgan Grille.

My problem is, I have no idea what model it would fit. Can anyone identify it please. I'm in no hurry but it needs a new home and I suspect someone will put it to the use it was originally intended (or perhaps put it in front of their open cottage fire).

Any help gratefully received.

Your image links are dead. It is best to use the TM Image library for posting photos on the forum.

Still getting the hang of embedding pictures. These might help:

Both of those links go no where - have a look at how to post pics on here. I've got too many grills now and may be able to offer a little help!

Hi Grumpy2,

Thanks for the reply. I've actually posted a reply to my own OP with the pictures in (checked this time), but the post hasn't shown up yet as I think it has to pass moderation. Hopefully it will give an insight into what I have.

I'm returned a favour to my friend by trying to find a home for it but having seen another post I'm not sure it's worth too much money. There's zero corrosion on it, just witness marks from the stainless feet.

Thanks for the reply.

I did post two previous replies but neither have been published. Don't know why the mod found them detrimental to the thread.

Anyway, here are the grilles:

pm sent (look in the top right hand corner of the screen) not really an area for extended conversations.

Hi Bleasers.

The response has been somewhat slow, my apologies. My house got hit by lightening! I don't recommend it - I'm on first name terms with the electrician and loss adjuster.

Anyways, I've had the measurements for ages, but other events have been taking the front row seats.

The grille, without feet, is 490mm high and 350mm wide.

Is that enough to identify it?

Cheers......Graham
