The taps are Dorf Manorhouse. I think Dorf taps have been bought by Caroma taps
I did buy some parts from a UK place paying a lot more for postage than the parts cost and Franke rings a bell. Unfortunately they were much too big. The parts I need have 19 teeth, the outside of the teeth is 1/2inch, the outside of the collar on the bottom is 9/16 and the overall height is 7/32. Inside is sort of square as they go on a shaft that has flat sides but I think if I get some plastic parts with the right number of teeth and external size I can file the inside out to match, even if too high I can cut them down, I think getting the right fit on the outside is the most important thing.
I have looked around lots of plumbing shops here with no luck, if you could have a look that would be great.

Bonesie .... now look what you've done! .... have ordered a printer and some filament (my mate jumped at the chance ) .... makes sense to have it as a joint effort as, once the novelty wears off, it probably won't get enough use out of either one of us alone.
Will no doubt try it out with some ready made files but we both want to be able to make custom bits eventually. My mate is the flute maker who turned up the lovely gearknob for the Morgan .... he eventually wants to print fancy ferrules and bands for flutes and then send them away as samples to be cast in silver. I'm not quite so focussed but there will be plenty of plastic widgets I can turn my hand to. ..... now to see if we can make it turn out anything of our own design that doesn't look like a cowpat!
Yes, there are loads of useful stuff to be going on with till you start designing and making your own things. I bought mine to do some jobs around the work shop but this bloomin engine has taken over for now !
Still amazed how you can get a 3D shape from a roll of plastic !
I’ve always been fascinated by 3D printers mainly due to watching the one at Morgan print out prototype bits for various cars. Then I was invited to look at the 3D printing shop at Jaguar Land Rover development at Gaydon. Wow....some of the stuff they were printing and the size of the printers! Something I’ve always fancied but never felt justified in buying. Then COVID-19 arrived, my village took over the sailing club HQ and we started producing PPE. They needed a 3D printer to produce face shield frames....so I bought one. A Qidi X-Plus which has coped well with producing several hundred frames! That’s all finished and now I can play with it to my hearts content. Folding picture supports for Wen’s local art group exhibition, stamps for my pottery, bits for the Ulster and daft things (well to me🙄) for the grandchildren. My brother in law wants a full size Luger.....I’ve got the file, just need the time to print it....about 3 days in high definition! I’m playing about with various 3D modelling software from the very simple but surprisingly effective Tinkercad to more advance stuff Like Fusion 360.
The one thing I have learnt is to check the print progress every now and again.....I came back to find a huge tangled mess of plastic filament once. The print decided not to adhere to the print plate 😳. Took ages to clear. So I’ve now set up a remote camera so I can monitor it from afar on my phone!

Touch wood I havent had too many failures. Had one today though !! 7 hour print ruined because I didnt slice the file properly. Ah well, job for tomorrow. The thing I learned very quickly was to get the bed level and at the right height to the nozzle, otherwise it goes pear shaped pretty quick.
Where is the Luger file ? Is that a collection of parts or a single print ? I wouldnt mind doing that too ? :-)

I realised after taking the measurements and looking at if that the most important thing to hold the tap level is the ridge it sits on that is 1/2inch round. So potentially I could get a 1/2 inch washer and cut out a square centre in it, then build the rest as a separate part to stick on top. Hopefully you have more luck that me an i don't need to worry about trying to make something.

Just bought a Creality Ender 3 from Technology Outlet. Repaired my shower door runner (had to get to grips with 3D design software!). Spare parts not available so made my own.
Loads of things on Thingiverse. Currently trying out different bobbin designs for the wife's spinning wheel.But printing does take a long time!
