Peter, Received, fitted and tested today. Suuuuuuuuuuuuperb result.  Probably still won't take the car out in the rain though  But if taken by surprise..................? Ian To clarify on my post. When I said "fitted" I did have to make a few minor adjustments to the rubbers. Without trimming rubber I had interference on the top of the screen (all three blades) and the side pillar on driver side blade. No interference on lower frame. On each wiper I cut off enough to clear frame by taking the ends of up up metal. Then iIcut a small step in the wiping edge of the blade rubber to achieve the final clearance. Consequently whilst the metal structure of the new blade passes marginally over the windscreen frame, it doesn't actually "touch" because it is held off by the wiper. The whole fettling process took 5 minutes. The resulting "wipe" is excellent (no lifting or catching) and they look great Regards Ian

Just fitted mine. Incredible prompt service, only ordered them yesterday! No rush for it to rain but they do enhance the look. I'm really pleased how such a small item can make such a visual and practical difference. Excellent product, thanks Peter for producing this brilliant upgrade.

Arrived this morning. Fitted. Tested. Perfect. No overlap on lower screen edge. The last set of blades I bought overlapped the lower edge of the screen substantially - to the extent that I cit an inch off the lower end of each blade. Yours fit perfectly.
You have achieved something that MMC have failed to sort.

Wish I could say the same! Mine arrived this morning and on fitting noticed that the driver side rubber was overlapping the screen, so I trimmed 1/8 inch off and it just about cleared. Then on full arc, they were all fouling the bottom frame of the screen, the middle one by a good 10mm. So I adjusted all the arms on the splines as much as possible so that they park a little lower, and that has improved but still not perfect. I notice that these “ 7 inch “ blades actually measure 7 3/8 inches! If only they were 7 inches the issue would be resolved but it is not possible to cut the fouling ends any shorter. Maybe this is yet another Morgan thing but would be interested to see how others get on? My wipers arrived some days ago. I have to say that I have a similiar problem on my (Rhd) car. The left wiper overlaps on the left side of the frame. Here it is possible to cut a small piece from the "upper" part of the rubber. The wiper in the middle overlaps the frame on the bottom about 8-10mm. So it is impossible to cut the rubber on this wiper. I try to find some rivets that connect the different parts of the wiper and hope to find how to solve this problem. Ms. BMGermany does not like the sound when wipers hit the frame!  As you will see from previous threads, there are two easy solutions: 1.Adjustable wiper arms 2. Lower gearing on the wiper motor...I went from 130 to 120 degrees, the reduced sweep is hardly noticeable, but the blade hitting the frame has been cured. Trying to re-rivet seems a difficult job. Many thanks Dough, In the meantime I have 3 wipers from CBS and 3 wipers from MR11MOG in my shelf so I wanted to find a solution without buying even more parts that maybe don´t fit.... I have to order all the parts in GB and have to pay more than 12 GBP for shipping so " trial and error" is a little bit expensive. Next problem is my limited english, often it is difficult for me to understand some tecnical explanations here... But I think perhaps your adwise is the best and quickest way to go. Is there any good photo of the adjustable wiperarms from CBS? The picture on their website is very poor. Do I understand correctly that I need the right park version of the adjustable wiper arms?

I would suspect that some people are trying to fit 7” blades when the originals were 6”. Please check which ones you need .

A left hand drive car requires left hand park and a right hand drive car requires right hand park. The difference is in the direction of bend on the arm.
In your case, before spending more money, I advise spending some time measuring the position of each blade both in the parked and in the full sweep positions. It may be that a shorter arm may overcome hitting the top frame, but results in it hitting the bottom! In that case you would need to change the gearing as well. It is also possible that you may find that you only need one or two adjustable arms instead of three.

BmGermany, as DeeJay states: take your time, do some measurements. I have posted a way to do it further up in this thread. You might also take the "lid" off the wiper gear box to see what sweep angle you actually have at the moment - for a reference. If the wiper fouls the upper and/or outer frame, you have only two choices: trim down the distal end of the wiper or get an adjustable arm. If you manage buy cutting without destroying the wiper - fine, but I don't think you gain much although you are the one to see wether it is enough. If not, an adjustable arm is the solution. They are super easy to set up, adjust and readjust if needed. Now if they foul the lower edge, again you have two choices: cut the wiper (will it be enough?) or change gear. If you end up changing gear, to decide the new angle measure as I have explained in another post. Good luck with the project, you will get it right in the end.

I received my new 7" wiper blades today and fitted them straight away in 5 minutes without having to fettle them.
The new wiper blades are about 10mm longer than my standard blades which don't have end caps and I initially thought I would have to trim the end of the drivers side blade to clear the drivers side vertical screen frame. This wouldn't have been a problem, however the blades just fitted.
My first impression was that the new blades fit the wiper arms much better, the standard ones having a lot of slop. In fact the standard blades are very flimsy and poor quality compared to the new ones.
I fully agree with others recommendations even though I hope not to use them much!
