I just worry about the specialized electric like the MMC PCB boards.
As Richard says for spares suppliers cash is king and stock control critical. Melvyn Rutter by buying up at low cost closing dealer obsolete stock has done well I am sure.

Yes same here
Last year MMC had one spare MFU box for my roadster in stock fortunately but I doubt they are going to carry much for older models in the future with the new models coming on stream

I think we’ll have to rely on Melvyn for future bits more

As TBM says half the fun is searching around for the best deal. I do use the factory if I'm in a hurry as it's just up the road but some of their prices are silly.

If you're not in a rush, Morgan Spares US have a very good stock (better than MR at times) and are sometimes cheaper, even with shipping and customs charges.

They already have a stockist / distributor called Leacy Classics, in Birmingham, who send out all the stuff you order online through the factory 'Shop' mainly shiny bit's & accessories obviously

Thankfully the larger components are made by mainstream OEMs so in that regard I don't think there is much to worry about. With that said, I've had some minor Morgan specific parts that had to be replaced and when they do come up, I buy 1 or 2 extra. I had a brass fitting fail last year and it's clearly a Morgan specific made piece so one is waiting in the wings.

All in all, the classic Morgan is a relatively simple piece of kit so not a whole lot to go truly go pear shaped. - fingers crossed that is. smile
