Looks familiar Craig, the same parking spot even!

That should remind me to use a back mirror, even on own ground when everyone else is still in bed on a Sunday morning.

My repair works are acceptable, at least for myself. (see attached pic in the original posting)

Hi Hannes

Sorry to see the damage but at least you are taking it much better than I would!

Do you think the luggage rack/rear bumper hoop gave any protection at all?

I think we should leave the modelling to the cars Craig, we are bringing the tone down!!

I am convinced without the bumper hoop the damage would have been significant.
The LR would have hit the lower center of the rear end. The complete rear center part would have been damaged. The number plate holder would have been damaged too. The bumper part pushed the LR back a little bit when it absorbed the impact.

I had to use a sledge hammer to get the bent hoop fixings straightened out again.
A big hammer for chisels was far to small to achieve anything

Incredible spec on your 4/4 Ewn, i bet it was a blast down those hills!

I've ran through Maranello's hills on Saturday, pretty brittle ride if you ask me but at least i've got this photo in front of an old church.
Plus, a nice lady (my guess is she was as old as the church i was standing in front of) came to me and asked why a young chap like me (i'm 28) was driving an old FIAT "Balilla" love

Greetings from hot northern Italy!

A lucky escape I’d say, Hannes and I’d agree about leaving the dent, it adds character.

Craig and Stevie, the cars look superb, but surely you should have hired a boat, coffee was a a bit of a cop out laugh2

Coffee was more than enough excitement for me Ewn, I am happier underwater than on it, and preferably a warm Caribbean sea.

Love the picks in your post, that is some stunning countryside.
