Thanks Ewan, I was wondering how it was right now.
I suppose the revenue is from the TV rights but it must be a struggle without the gate money etc.
I'll make a point of watching those races on catch up they sound good.

 That's a nice rig. Those Actross are mighty beasts and dead easy to drive with all the auto electronics these days. No more range changers, splitters and heaven knows what else that were there when I did my truck driving.. They all seem to be autos now. I've driven the earlier Merc Powershift - similar in operation to a pre-selector. Worked well. The range change as fitted to Volvo F10 was easy (can't comment on other V as not driven them), but remember to keep hand on side of shift for 3rd/7th otherwise skinned knuckles result! Never fully got the hang of splitters as fitted to Scania - not consistent across the box on the 117. ZF Ecosplit required careful consideration of current gear and where the next one was!

Super bikes and Touring cars are Knockhill’s biggest earners, all these sports venues must be hurting right now, thank goodness they at least were allowed to host the race. Yet to watch the F1 and BTTC on the player, my detour home made it a long day, I didn’t take the roof for the 4/4 and the last hour was cold and dark, summer might be over.

Ewn .... sounds like a great day out ..... just a bit autumnal here this morning as well .... we can hope for some nice days yet tho .... it's still bloody August after all !!

Hamilton quoted in the media, after yesterday, (paraphrased a bit) "watching me must have been like when I watched Schumacher as a kid. The start, the finish and the highlights, otherwise it is a bit tedious".
He went on to say he hopes that for 2020 it will be a lot more competitive and with real racing".
I wonder what he would be like in BTCC??

My son-in-law asked if I had watched the race. He asked if it was a good race.
I love Spa, but I told him that most of the race was decided at the start. Yes, a bit tedious. Like those days with 2 cars on the lead lap at the checkers.

This is a good start with Mclaren 2nd and 3rd on lap one.. It's a real Latin Fiasco and worth a watch tonight it's been turned on it's head through two catastrophic decisions..

I'm looking forward to watching tonight, I just listened online not being a Murdoch fan.
That was a great Young podium, I felt sorry for Max and Charles though.
I have never been a fan of the reverse grid but after today I'm thinking differently.

I've not enjoyed a race so much for ages!
Certainly wasn't Ferrari's day, a total brake failure, which must have been very disturbing for Sen, and a significant mistake by Charles...what seemed to be a catostraphic accident turned out to only have damaged the car and the barrier. F1 Safety has come a long way.
