Welcome to the fold Phil,

As a fellow newbie (7 weeks into ownership), I can guarantee you that you are not alone in having plenty to learn! I've found the forum entertaining as well as educational, and I've loved driving the Mog.

Best of luck with your new adventure.

Welcome to TM.
Previous advice is sound - if its rubber it needs changing and if its got a grease nipple —— it needs greasing.

Hopefully your trip to Life’s will get you started,

The post above re tyres is worth thinking about - anything over 7 years old is very risky. They harden with age leading to very dangerous situations.

Good luck.

Welcome to TM. It is an Aladdin’s Cave of useful information.

Matty Jackson at Life’s is both very dedicated and very helpful.

Welcome Phil, from a fellow +8 owner and member of Fellmog. Currently at Crooklands Hotel even though Morgan’s at Windermere has been cancelled, much needed weekend away.

Even a hullo from way down here in New Zealand. The years have flashed past so quickly since buying our Morgan and we have now chalked up thousands of really enjoyable motoring miles. And look forward to many more ahead. The previous owner had our car for 32 years and we intend keeping her ‘long term’ as well. There’s just something really satisfying about pitching an old car ( in years or style) against modern traffic ... and surprising others on the road at how well they go. We are out in our 1962 Plus 4 as often as possible and I’m sure you will enjoy the same. A warm welcome to the Morgan fold.

That is a week on Monday.

Hi Phil

Lovely colour combination!

I'm booked in at Life's myself the week after next but its just down the road for me. What part of Cumbria are you based?

Welcome to TM. That looks a lovely MOG. Remember any answers to your questions can be found here. Remember to wave at other MOGs/Classic car owners when out and about! Visits to the shops/garage to fuel up will never be the same.
